Schedule Driving |
Students will receive a minimum of 12 hours of driving instruction (6 hours driving and 6 hours of observation). Before scheduling a BTW driving lesson, students must have an Illinois State Instruction Permit. Lessons start with basic steering and control of the vehicle, and gradually advance through all city traffic and freeway issues. In cooperation with parents and family, we steadily work to build the students skills and confidence. |
Illinois State Law requires that all students have their State issued Instruction Permit with them at all times when taking a driving lesson. If the State issued permit is not presented when asked, the drive lesson will be treated as a cancellation and the student will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Additional 50 Hours Driving Requirement: Illinois State Law requires that all Students drive and log an additional 50 hours of BTW driving with a parent/legal guardian before a driver's license can be applied for. To support your student's development, we ask for you to use these 50 hours to practice between driving lessons with their Drive Academy instructor. |
